The Cabra Group principals

Greta Stough has 10 years of highly successful experience in building new revenue streams and improving operations efficiency and impacts and for private companies, government agencies, and non-profits. She also has substantial experience with educational, cultural, environmental, and community-based organizations. She was most recently Director of Development for the Suquamish Foundation. Her previous work includes City of New York Mayor's Office, West Harlem Local Development Corporation, Washington State Department of Ecology, and the Gemological Institute of America. Ms. Stough has held professional memberships in the American Museum Association, American Planning Association, and various national and regional professional fundraising associations. She has completed substantial work toward a Master's in Urban Planning at New York University and holds a double Bachelor's degree in Biology and English from Oberlin College.

Suquamish Foundation, Suquamish, Washington
Created new Development systems focusing on major donors. Authored and designed marketing materials leveraging the Tribe's commitment to the community and strong cultural assets. Developed charter and board for new non-profit entity, the Suquamish Museum and Arts Center. Developed and maintained new website with internet donation capability. Built partnerships with local nonprofits and Tribal members as well as Tribal Government.


Suquamish Tribe Early Learning Center, Suquamish, Washington
Created a Program Guide that led to the prestigious Office of Head Start Gold Certificate for the Center. The Center was one of only five Gold Certificate recipients from the thousands of programs reviewed nationwide.

Restructured existing resources within the Department to create a streamlined permitting system with multiple results:

Transformed operations of a paper-heavy copyright and trademark law firm from paper to electronic systems, including an efficient database of form documents and a live, secure internet portal for staff access to confidential data.


Mayor's Office of New York City
Worked as part of a small team to address Storm Water Management in conjunction with the City's most recent strategic plan, New York City 2020. Researched and compiled the most current technology and methods for the City to prepare for the 8,000,000+ combined sewer overflow events each year that impact water quality, wild life, and habitat throughout the river systems of New York City and the greater Hudson River Estuary.


ACP Visioning and Planning, New York, New York
Created a best practices guide for planning and visioning activities in a wide range of subject areas. Analyzed community outreach and visioning data. Wrote guides based on shared community visions of past, present and futures for communities across the country including Amherst, MA and Columbia, MO. Assisted with editing Gianni Longo's book: Visioning and Visualization: People, Pixels, and Plans.


West Harlem Local Development Corporation, New York, New York
Helped convene the first public meetings of the LDC in response to Columbia University's announcement of their intention to build a new campus in the Manhattanville neighborhood of New York City. Facilitated community outreach meetings to gather information on community needs and vision.

Modified the application, information flow, and student services to increase revenues and increase student success.
